Hotel Outdoor Bell: The first version of this panel has a bell button along with 3 service indicators (Laundry, Make Up Room, and Do Not Disturb (DND) mode) and a room number indicator. In addition to its bell button and 3 indicators, the second version of this panel includes RF, which acts as an access control service. It opens and closes the door with the guest card and replaces door access batteries, so you don’t have to worry about battery backups.

You can have several options in a single device.

Visitors can ring the room bell with only a touch of the bell icon on this panel. However, if your guest is relaxing and the “Do Not Disturb” mode is activated, the message is displayed through this panel, the bell option is deactivated, and interruptions are avoided. Hotel Card/Services Panel: This card switch panel includes a card holder and three buttons for Laundry, Make Up Room, and DND. This panel is unique due to the capability of functioning with a Mifare card; once the card is put into its holder, the power in the room is enabled (except for the refrigerator, which is always on). Also, it can be programmed to have as many lights as you wish turn on, but remember that this would be a once and for all program, so be careful about the light you choose. This feature helps save a considerable amount of energy since no one forgets to turn appliances off before leaving the room. The reason is that once the card is picked up programmed devices are turned off automatically.

However, you can program the device to work with the AC based on the surrounding climate. For instance, if your hotel is located in a normally warm spot, you can program this panel to maintain the AC at specific temperature and only change the lighting mode.

(To one whom it may concern: Mifare cards are customizable in every aspect; if your guests are a couple who spend their stay individually, you can offer them two cards. These cards are chargeable. Also, since they can be customized based on the work of housekeepers at the hotel, they are very secure. For instance, if a housekeeper works solely on even days, her/his card will not function on odd days, etc.).
